| Chantal | Hi Hayley
I was reading there and thought you were getting married. Thats okay and I wish your friends well. I am having my reception at Greenville REceptions in thomastown for only $50 p/h and they go as low as $35pp for finger food etc, worth checking it out. What part of Melbourne are you in how much and how much do your freinds want to spend? Let me know and im sure we can all help you. Chantal |

| hayley | thanks chantal. My weeding is not until november next year. I am all planned exept for flowers and cake.
My friends were planning to get married next year to but due to cultural needs, only have 12 weeks to do it in. They need to be married before the baby comes. We are in the Croydon/ringwood area. They are looking to spend no more than $50-60 per person and are only wanting finger food as this is an engagement party/wedding. They are looking at inviting 120-150 people. |

| Yvonne | Hi Hayley i got married at the York on Lilydale for around 30 dollars a head but there r more expensive menus as well i am also in croydon |

| M&Ms | What a good friend you are, Hayley!
My suggestion would be a lunchtime reception, try for a Sunday or Friday if possible, and a cocktail-theme. Most do this for around $35-$60 a head depending on where you go, season, etc. Alternitavely there are some very lovely catering businesses that come to your home & professionally serve up canapes etc, and clean up afterwards. I went to a 60th for my aunty recently where she did this, I was so impressed, it was very classy & she did it all on a budget. I can give you some links to this if you're interested, I wasn't sure if this was the way you wanted to go? |

| Chantal | Hi Hayley
I have also just remembered a lovely place called Bram Leigh Receptions, My girlfriend got married there and it was just beautiful - worth checking out, I also think it was $50 p/h. there is also a chapel there which is lovely and beautiful as well. Pls let me know what you decide. Bram leigh is in Croydon. |

| Chantal | also regarding Wedding Dresses, try looking at any Formal wear or other bridal dress shops, dont know any in your area. |

| Jill | Hi Hayley,
If your friend gets a traditional dress, she can wear it without a corset, the free-flowing one.(I'm not having a corset/bra/torsollete because it's built in the dress) It's good to shop around. A lot of places have white dresses, depend on the budget and the style she's interested in.Is she happy with a simple flowing dresses or more beads/laces/tulle/silk? By Special Arrangement is offering a lot of things for just $5500, bridal gown, 2 bridemaids dresses, wedding cake, photography and video, bridal jewellery etc. I went to see them two weeks ago, but my friend who's getting married on 13th Sept is seeing her today. All the best. Jill |

| Belinda | Hayley, for the dresses, try:
Bridal Revival. Shop 6 Railway Ave Ringwood East 3135 They have heaps of samples, and recycled gowns for both Brides and their maids. Perhaps you will find somthing a bit cheaper that can be altered or modified to suit a growing bump. Good Luck. |
