Mari Cortese-Milone and Gerard Banner are experienced, professional musicians specialising in modern and classical music, both in English and Italian.

We are available to help you create the atmosphere you would like for your special day.

You may select any of the songs listed on our song list or make suggestions of your own. We are pleased to learn new songs by request. You will, however, need to check with your priest or celebrant if there are any restrictions on your music selections.

Background music is played by Gerard on keyboards 10–15 minutes before the start of the Wedding Ceremony while your guests are being seated.

To begin with you will need to choose a song for the Bride’s entry, usually the traditional Wedding Chorus or a favourite song or instrumental piece of special meaning to you. For a full Mass one or two songs for Communion will need to be selected. During the Signing of the Registry two songs are played, allowing for witnessing signatures and photos. As you leave the Church at the end of the Ceremony the Traditional Wedding March is played signifying the completion of the Ceremony or alternatively you may wish to have your own special song or music played.

A deposit fee of $100.00 is required to secure your booking, with the balance of $150.00 to be paid at the end of the ceremony.

Mari and Gerard also form the centre of a five piece reception/function band along with Simon our male singer, Fabian our guitarist and MC and Frank our drummer and sound technician. With a huge sound and versatile repertoire we are available and happy to play at your Wedding Reception.
